University urges non-discrimination against racial minorities, people with disabilities and sex offenders
A private university in New York told students, faculty and staff to not discriminate against someone based on a history of sexual offenses.
A poster at the university, obtained by The College Fix, has a list of categories and a statement that “I will not discriminate.” The poster has the university’s name on it.
People should “not discriminate” against someone based on sex, race, disability or religion according to the poster, nor someone’s “sexual offender status.”
Finally! The 11th commandment!
I wonder how quick will the signs be defaced where it says “sex offenders” or ripped down.
Yikes, I thought the article was going to shed more light on the inequality of registrants of being equal citizens. It’s a hit piece on the University. The article is trying to conflate inequality with a recent sex crime. In other words, the article is saying a person who paid their debt to society and a person who just committed a crime are one of the same.
Then the article wanted to know if the university was accepting registrants. Wow! Talk about openly wanting second-class citizens by not allowing them to be educated so as to prevent social and economic movement upwards!
The author wants to inquire what “sex offender status” means from the university when it’s universally known. The author could do what a journalist does, which is to do their own research.
This article is a simple hit piece. The silver lining is that at least one university is trying to treat registrants who paid their duty to society already as equal citizens.
Much of the theme about registration is all based on political beliefs such as teen pregnancies and pre-marital sex. If married it’s legal but if she divorced your arse in the morning you might need to give 2 weeks notice at your job. Registration is an all out political bandage over their culpability for Megan Kanka’s death.
